With a love and passion for the outdoors and water, Ferrygate Camping invites you to dip your toes and explore the Norfolk Broads and its surrounding areas to your hearts content, and at your own pace…

Ferrygate camping is situated on seven acres surrounded by glorious countryside and right next to the water.  There are no electric hook-ups and no set pitches making this a quiet and relaxing site where it’s ever-so easy to immerse yourself in the sounds of nature.

The Coffee Shack offers a selection of barista coffee, tea, pastries and cakes which is open to both campers and passers-by.  We have great facilities whereby both toilets and showers are individual units providing hot water and no tokens are required.

The site has it’s own private launch facility for SUP, kayak and canoe and kayak alternatively kayaks or canoe are available to hire from the site. The Broads are a water lover’s paradise, with over 120 miles of navigable, lock-free waterways as well as 63 broads which have channels and cuts that can only be reached by Stand-Up Paddle Board, Kayak or Canoe make for a perfect way to explore.

For those that prefer land-based adventures there are miles of the stunning sandy beaches, numerous walking trails and cycle routes both on and off-road awaiting hikers and cyclists alike … and all accessible from the site - this really is the best location for waterside living under canvas.

After a days’ exploring, entertainment by night comes from campfire cooking and toasting marshmallows whilst enjoying the vast space. With the site being low light pollution stargazing is inevitably breath-taking.

The nearest shopping facilities are in Martham which is a quaint village and only a 1 mile walk up quiet lanes. It has a large green with duck pond, post office, two Co-Op’s, a pet supplies store and a couple of pubs.

The beautiful coastal village of Winterton-on-Sea is only a ten-minute drive away and offers not only the majestical sandy beach and wondrous Winterton Dunes National Nature Reserve it also has a superb pub and tea-rooms.
